Baby Dedication
Special Event Baby Dedications are held each Spring to honor our commitments as parents to raise our children in Christ’s name and in His word.
1 Samuel 1-3. It is no wonder that Samuel became such a tremendous prophet! Hannah responded to God in love, gratitude and obedience. God blessed her for her dedication.
It is our privilege to join you in a commitment to pray for your child as you raise him/her “in the training and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4) We look forward to sharing this very special time with you and your family.
Join Us for a Baby Dedication Celebration
Woodlands Church Baby Dedications will be held during the main services on Sunday, May 10th. What a beautiful way to celebrate Mother’s Day!
During the Baby Dedication ceremony, our entire church will join Pastor Kerry in praying for the babies as their parents dedicate them to the Lord. The ceremony will take place at the beginning of each service. Babies will be given a keepsake Bible, and a certificate from Pastor Kerry commemorating this special day.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Upon arrival, please proceed to the infant area in the Children’s Ministry 45 minutes before the service for which you are registered.
- Up to two parents or adult family members may join the baby on stage for the ceremony (no siblings please). Any other family members and friends may participate in the ceremony from their seats in the auditorium.
- You are encouraged to dress your baby in their sweetest clothing, or whatever is most comfortable for their special day.
- You may check your baby into the Small World Nursery with our loving shepherds immediately after the ceremony. We encourage you to then re-enter the service in the appropriate location, to help limit distractions.
- Your family will receive a commemorative DVD of the ceremony as a remembrance of this special day.
Your baby is a gift for which we are all thankful, and we look forward to
celebrating that gift with your family this weekend.
