Lay Counseling Training - Bridging the Gap
Do you have a desire to learn about God's plan for personal transformation? Do you want to be equipped to assist others as they deal with struggles and be able to come alongside them as they walk through difficult times? Do you have a passion to learn about the human condition, personality, addictions, depression, and anxiety? If so, this training is for you.
Participants will be given biblical model for emotion and spiritual development and will gain experience with tools to effectively help others. Group discussion, exercises and role play assist in learning God's way to encourage, challenge and equip people for change.
The course is facilitated by Paul Looney, MD Christian Psychiatrist and Teaching Pastor at Woodlands Church.
