The Care and Prayer Ministry offers hope and help in times of pain or crisis for families, singles, children & adults of all ages through Counseling, Cancer Resource Team, Celebrate Recovery, DivorceCare and Pastoral Care. We also provide pastoral guidance, support and services for weddings and funerals.

Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Ministry exists to empower the five purposes of Woodlands Church through the active practice of prayer. This is accomplished by giving every member and attender at FOTW the opportunity to learn and live out what it means to be a person of prayer. Worship Teams pray in small groups during a minimum of one worship service per month and pray for all aspects of the services happening that weekend. An E-mail Team is made up of individuals who receive prayer requests online daily. A Brown Bag Prayer Affair meets during lunch to pray once a month. The Prayer Vigils Team prays a few times a year for special events. If you have a Prayer Request please send here.

Broadcast Ministry Call Center Team

If you have a heart to reach out to others and share the Good News, join us as we answer calls in response to Pastor Kerry's televised broadcasts.  Whether processing a request for a sermon tape or responding to needs through prayer - this ministry offers a unique opportunity to truly make a difference for Christ in the World.  Full training is provided.  For more information contact Robin Robinson.

Celebrate Recovery is a 12-step Biblical recovery program for those seeking freedom from addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behavior, and to overcome negative habits, hurts, and hang-ups, whether individually or maritally.  For more information, contact us.

DivorceCare
DivorceCare provides a sensitive support group for helping you recover from the hurt and isolation of separation or divorce. Often, others around you do not understand the pain your divorce or separation is causing - for you, your children, your family, your friends. DivorceCare is here to help strengthen you for a fresh, new beginning.

DivorceCare 4 Kids
Divorce Care for Kids is a special group to help children heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents. At our weekly DC4K group, kids make friends who understand the things they are going through because of the divorce of their parents.

GriefShare
If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

GriefShare at Woodlands Church is a ministry for people grieving the loss of someone close. This 13 week video & curriculum-based program is facilitated by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.  For more information, contact us.

Hospital Visitation Ministry
The Hospital Visitation members visit church members who are sick and in the hospital to provide comfort and encouragement in their time of need.   If you know one of our church family members is in the hospital, please call or email Woodlands Church. Meals Ministry
The Meals Ministry serves meal to members and regular attenders on a short term basis who have been hospitalized with the birth of a child or a serious illness. If you know one of our church members is in the hospital or recently returned home from the hospital, please call or email Woodlands Church. Counseling
The purpose is to provide biblically-based, clinically-competent, and spiritually-sensitive counseling on a short term basis.  We strive to promote psychological and spiritual health for individuals, couples and families. We help individuals and families cope with personal and interpersonal problems through the application of biblical truths, with the Bible and the Holy Spirit serving as the primary resource and advisor for counseling and teaching.

Confidential Services
The Counseling Center is staffed by compassionate and competent Christian professionals.  All information is confidential and private.  

Location
The Counseling Center is located in the portable offices adjacent to the south parking lot (near the Singles' Tent).

Office Hours and Appointments
Office hours are 8:00 to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Appointment hours are 8:00 to 4:00, Monday through Thursday. All sessions are by appointment only. Sessions are 45 minutes in length. For more information, contact us.

Funerals
The death of a family member is a very substantial loss. We want to make this painful transition time of sorrow and grief less lonely and overwhelming by assisting in funeral services for our members and their families. We are available to answer questions about death and life after death.  We also offer support and help to families and individuals during this very difficult and sorrowful time. Weddings
