What is a Small Group?

A Small Group is a place where people can connect in authentic community.  Small Groups are for people that want to grow spiritually and meet others that want that as well.

How do groups handle childcare?

All groups handle childcare differently.  Some groups don't allow children to attend so that the adults can focus and not get distracted during the study.  Other groups hire a babysitter and all parents pay a fee.  Some groups let the kids play in a separate room.  Ultimately, it is up to the Small Group Leader how childcare is handled.

How often does a Small Group meet?

Groups meet on a predetermined day and time, weekly or bi-weekly.

Do groups meet at the church?

Groups are welcome to meet at Sycamores Cafe during regular cafe hours.  We do not have the means to allow groups to meet in other ares of the campus.

Is dating allowed in Small Groups?

Small Groups are a great place to make friends and meet others that may have the same values and beliefs as you do.  However, Small Groups are not for people that are looking to just find a date.

How many tries does it take before the "right" group is found?

Some people find the right group immediately and others have to try multiple groups before finding the right one.  Prospective group members are welcome to try out different groups until the best fit group is found.  We do ask that they attend each group at least 3 times before making a final decision about the group.
