What is Missions?

The natural progression of a persons' growth in Christ is the desire to share what they have received, in faith, time and resources. Missions are the efforts we can harness together as a congregation to effect life change on a large scale. "A big church can make a big difference."

• Local Impact (or Community Outreach) opportunities are minutes from your home and provide the foundation of what we do beyond our own church. » Learn More
• Global Impact opportunities provide an opportunity for members to share the hope of Christ in hard to reach places. Global Impact can be best understood in this way:
  • Partnerships — Areas of the world where we have formed a long term relationship and commitment;
  • Projects — Areas of need where our church sees potential for long term relationship, and projects of high impact allow us to take steps in that direction.
  • Passion Initiatives — Valuable, yet brief efforts:
    • Church-wide initiatives are calls to action for specific high impact needs, such as disaster relief;
    • Self-Directed initiatives are valuable, heartfelt areas of need that the entire church is not leading, promoting or funding, but will assist individuals who sense a call to action.
